August is Eat Local Month, and one of the best times of the year to shop at the Co-op! It’s peak season for many local farms, and every day, we receive fresh new produce, meats, cheeses, wines, craft beers, bakery items, and more, all right here in the store.
Eating local food is not only delicious, but it also boosts the economic prosperity of our community, the local economy, the environment, and our culture. Check out this list of our local vendors, or scroll to the bottom of the page to see our interactive online map! Here are some of the other fun things happening here at the Co-op this August:

Local Food Map
What is “Local”? Here at the Co-op, we include anything within a 100-mile radius, along with anything from NH or VT. We’ve organized our vendors by product and department, and grouped them so you can see our who’s who is local to Littleton Co-op. We also mapped out a 25-mile radius in green so you can see all of the super-local farms and producers in our region! Click here to see a full-size version of the map in a new page.
